After garnering nationwide focus around a proposed resolution that would ban abortion and make the city a “sanctuary for lifetime,” a Southern California town has ditched it.

On Saturday, the San Clemente Metropolis Council held a distinctive meeting and voted 3-1 in favor of putting dialogue of the resolution from its upcoming Aug. 16 meeting agenda, according to a report.
