An American vacationer was killed by a shark during a holiday in the Bahamas, in accordance to nearby authorities.

The 58-calendar year-aged woman was on a snorkeling journey with her family when she was fatally maimed by a bull shark.  

"It is even more documented that household members observed a bull shark attacking the female," law enforcement mentioned, in accordance to Reuters. Tour corporation staff and family members members rushed to rescue the female.

The target, who was a Pennsylvania resident, was taken a nearby healthcare facility and declared lifeless. Police say that her higher system sustained injuries.

The lady and her family members were being travellers on Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas cruise. In accordance to Royal Caribbean Worldwide, it was an impartial shore tour.
