A fisherman is creating waves soon after he survived 11 days floating inside a freezer in shark-infested waters.

Romualdo Macedo Rodrigues, a fisherman from Brazil, was making his way by the Atlantic Ocean when his boat took on drinking water and sank, according to a report. Panicked, Rodrigues took refuge inside of a big freezer.

"I was desperate. I considered my finish was coming. But thank God, God gave me one additional possibility," explained Rodrigues, who added that he won't be able to swim. "I saw [a freezer] was not sinking. I jumped [inside it]. It fell to 1 aspect and saved ordinary.

For 11 times, the fisherman floated in the waters off the coast of northern Brazil, according to the report.

"Sharks were encompassing the freezer, but they went away. I considered [I would be attacked]. I stayed on the top. I failed to snooze," Rodrigues stated. "I observed the dawn, the dusk, inquiring God to deliver someone to rescue me. I was wondering about my young children, my spouse. Each and every working day I was pondering about my mom, my father, all my spouse and children. It gave me hope.”

Eventually, his hope was rewarded as another boat observed him and picked him up, in accordance to the report.

"I reported, 'My God, the boat.' I raised my arms and requested for enable," Rodrigues said. "That freezer was God in my life. The only issue I had was the freezer. It was a wonder."
