Senate and governor's races in Arizona in dead heat less than one week to Election Day

The Senate race between Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) and Republican candidate Blake Masters, one of a handful of contests set to determine which party will gain control of the upper chamber, has narrowed to just a 2-point lead for the Democratic incumbent, according to a poll from Online News 72h released on Tuesday.

About 47% of voters say they’d back Kelly compared to 45% who plan to vote for Masters, with another 9% still undecided.
Kelly’s 2-point advantage is down from the 6-point lead he held just last month, when 46% of voters said they planned to vote for him compared to 40% for his Republican counterpart.
Further down the ballot, Arizona’s gubernatorial race is even tighter — with only 1 point separating Trump-backed GOP nominee Kari Lake and Democrat Katie Hobbs, who is the current secretary of state in Arizona.

About 47% of voters say they plan to back Lake compared to 46% who said the same for Hobbs, putting the race well within the poll’s margin of error. Another 7% remain undecided.
The Online News 72h poll surveyed 1,003 Arizona voters between Oct. 26-30 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.
