Hope Hicks was concerned former President Donald Trump was damaging his legacy by continuing to contest the 2020 election results.

Hicks explained that Trump did not seem to care about his legacy if he conveyed that he lost the election, in new testimony released Monday.

"Nobody will care about my legacy if I lose. So, that won't matter. The only thing that matters is winning," Hicks said in the pre-recorded testimony.
